Santa Fe GP 7, 2244 with Slug 120, by Marty Quaas.  This HO engine was built using a Athearn chassis and Front-Range GP 7 body.  The nose was chopped, then details such as an Air Conditioner, Sun Shades, Strobe, Sinclair Radio Antenna and others were added.  The Slug was fabricated from a Athearn SW800 unpowered frame and cut-down body.
Santa Fe number 5502, by Marty Quaas.  This HO Booster Engine, as was the prototype, was built from an SD 45 and with a cut down GP 7 long hood spliced in to replace the short hood and cab.  Pictures of the prototype were followed for detailing, painting and lettering.
MKT number 637 by Raymond Hamm.  This model started as an undecorated Kato SD40-2.  Details added were a firecracker antenna, chains and grab irons.  The prototype for this unit was built in the MKT shops from the remains of MKT 613 and 627 which were wrecked in 1985.
